Responsibility and sustainability.

Ensinger assumes responsibility and promotes sustainability.

For years, the Ensinger quality products have been made using an environmentally-friendly production process with natural mineral water which is taken from a pure spring source. This is an incentive for the company to examine the whole environment with regard to the way it affects the surrounding countryside and to find environmentally-compatible solutions. Since 1997, active environmental conservation and industrial safety have been integral components of the company policy. Every year, Ensinger defines new goals for the environmental policy and publishes an environmental declaration which is reviewed and approved by recognised experts.

Ensinger takes its responsibility for the environment, society and its employees very seriously. The effects of the whole operational process are monitored and analysed. Based on these analyses, the operating system is further developed to prevent and/or reduce any consequences for the environment. This applies in particular to the use of raw materials, waste recycling, waste water, noise and energy consumption levels. In addition, the company also supports external environmental conservation projects. The activities range from planting trees, through re-naturalisation programs up to and including providing support for projects aimed at protecting endangered species.

The Ensinger company philosophy, which goes far beyond pure economic principles, demonstrates that even modern companies can work hand-in-hand with society and that economics and ecology are not mutually exclusive. We are convinced that this corporate policy is decisive for the credibility and acceptance of the company and its products and that it plays a role in ensuring the future of the company and jobs.
