The Ensinger Mineral-Heilquellen GmbH company was founded in 1952 by Wilhelm Fritz and his four sons Eberhard, Otto, Wilhelm and Erich and is still in the hands of the family today.

The company is located near the district town of Vaihingen/Enz, in the village of Ensingen, which gave the company its name. The springs emerge at the foot of the Eselsberg, the first of three mountain springs, in a popular recreation area that is also well known for its excellent wines.

The Ensinger products are bottled in two PET and one large glass bottling systems. One of Ensinger’s priorities is ensuring that the products are only bottled into ecologically sound recyclable glass bottles. The two PET systems produce and bottle ecologically sound PETcycle-bottles. The second PET system, which was commissioned in 2006, can also process disposable PET bottles.

In 1999, a highly modern logistics center was erected on a 44,600 m² large site connected with the administration centre. This involved moving approx. 82,000 m³ of earth and the use of 17,300 tonnes of steel and concrete. Environmental compatibility played a central role in the construction work.

The complete logistics area comprises about 9,000 m². The block warehouse provides space for about 10,000 Euro pallets. In the early summer, these 5 million bottles will cover demands for about one week. In the modern loading halls, four trucks can be unloaded and loaded at the same time.
